Dear C-S SADD Supporters-
So far, it has been a very hot summer, and there is less than 2 weeks left until September 7th, the first day of school for C-S. Nothing will be planned for SADD for the first bit of the school year, and the first meeting will probably not be until early in October. Our first event every year is Red Ribbon Week, usually later in October. Homecoming 2010 is the last week of September/first weekend of October (Sept. 27-Oct. 2), so it shouldn't be too hard to plan RRW around Homecoming.
Please Enjoy the Rest of Summer 2010 and Thank you For Your Support!
Sincerely,
~Your C-S SADD Chapter~

![]() | For 28 years, SADD has been committed to empowering & educating youth about alcohol & drug usage. Founded in 1981 in Wayland, MA as Students Against Driving Drunk, SADD has grown to become the nation’s main peer-to-peer youth education & prevention organization with chapters in middle schools, high schools & colleges. In 1997, SADD expanded its mission & name to become Students Against Destructive Decisions. SADD continues to endorse a firm "No Use" message concerning alcohol & drugs. With its expanded focus, SADD highlights prevention of all destructive behaviors & attitudes that harm young people, including underage drinking, substance abuse, impaired driving, violence, & suicide. Through the years, SADD has worked with federal & state agencies & other nonprofit groups to focus on the energy & resources of SADD chapters. Through these efforts, SADD has built strong leadership among youth, mobilize statewide partnership with the community, fostered awareness & support for youth initiatives, & organized efforts beyond SADD chapters to promote youth health & safety. |
